HOA Board Member Education
Did you know that serving on an HOA or condominium association board in Florida requires certification compliance within 90 days of being elected. Participants will be provided with a broad overview of their responsibilities and the areas of oversight that is required by condominium and homeowners’ association board of directors. Learn about condominium and HOA operations, records maintenance and owner access to records, dispute resolution options, budgets and reserves, election requirements and financial reporting with certified teachers compliments of our team.
We believe that well-trained leaders are key to a successful community. By taking the time to educate the Board of Directors at each community we manage, as the law requires, they are better equipped to hold effective meetings and make informed decisions.
We offer training sessions for our HOA and condominium board members led by our certified team. We also bring in experts from outside our company, including attorneys and CPAs, to share and discuss ongoing issues in the industry.
Our board education sessions cover the following areas:
Basics of a Homeowner’s Association
Role and Duties of the Board
Role and Duties of the Management Company
Basic Financial Management for Associations
Fiduciary Responsibility and the Business Judgment Rule
We also work hard to equip our board members with ample resources to aid in managing their community.
